Sunday the owner of my rental notified all of us that someone or a bot came through the sim and collected information bout items inadvertently listed as for sale in our rentals. These items are not truely for sale. The infomation was then listed without permission on www.sheeplabs.com that included our SL name and links right into our houses, bypassing the security systems in place.

I am not sure if this is even legal in SL to list items this way without the owner's express written (via notcard) permission.

If you own a home or rental in Second Life, go to that website and type in your SL name and check to see if they gathered your information and listed items from your home that you never intended to sell. Sadly, I already lost several items to this unauthorized listing and unauthorized entry into my rental.

If you find that you have items listed there that you dindnt intend to sell, edit your items so they are no longer for sale and email them at [email]AllEars@sheeplabs.com[/email] and tell them you want your name and items out of their listing immediatey.

Anyhow, I hope i posted this in the correct forum..if not could a monitor move it to the correct forum?

Private discussions – the forums are a public area for the Second Life community’s use. Individuals who have a dispute with each other have other channels of communication to discuss their differences or communicate – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life. Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc.
