Last night i rented a piece of land on Wicked Isle, which was adveritsed for 1000 a week, requesting two weeks in advance. Liked it and paid 2000 and was very please with the land and myself. Then mr Wicked himself appeared. With bad news and good news. The bad was: the price was wrong. The good news was i could rent it again, for 70% more. Ofcourse I said no way! We had a deal! Well, we didn't.
He just banned me from the property and - to be honest - paid my 2000 back. I was furious. Said the least he could have done is let met have the piece for 2 weeks at the agreed price. But he refused. This is still somewhat a Wild West-world. I know that ofcourse, but no reason not to warn u off Wicked Isle. The worst of all landlords!

I have been renting from Wicked since first of January and never ever has he been anything then upfront and willing to bend over backwards to not only accommodate myself but every other resident/neighbor I know on the island. I was a little surprised when I saw this and went to Wicked to see what exactly happened (you know the your side/ their side saga) and he had saved the conversation in a notecard and funny, but now I see why he didnt reason with you luv. Insulting him from the beginning to down right threatening him (which I guess this little forum is your follow through with it not being over and him not hearing the last from you) is rather enlightening as to why he did not try to please the "customer" in this case. And FYI, the agreement hadn't been "inked" so to speak because you have to join the group and that is extended after you make the initial "deposit" and speak with the landlord.

In case anyone does read this, the original resident moved out without first letting Wicked know before getting the remainder of his rent back so Wicked could adjust the rate in the rental box before a situation like this occured. Personally 1675 for 400 prims is a great deal especially for the condo that you looked at. Also, you failed to mentioned that he even offered it to you at 1500 for 500 prims. When you then continued your verbal assault, which violates the behavior expected on SL, he closed the negotiations and bid you good luck in your future endeavors.

So, bottom line, if your going to "warn" people of others, be sure to let them know what provoked the behavior shown to you. Believe me, if you had acted differently, he would have likely given you the two weeks at the price you paid, but after seeing the conversation, I understand why he wouldn't.

Wicked has been a good friend and great landlord. Willing to bend over backwards to help people out with any request they make that is within reason. Please feel free to stop in and hang out and get a true feel for the island and the residents.

Sorry if i misused the forum. Just put my posting in forum and it got placed, because i think the public has a right to know. No matter how eloquently mrs Kelley is defending her Wicked boy, it's still a very grave offense. Like I said in the dialogue with mister Wicked, in The Netherlands he would have been sued and convicted for not living up to his contractual commitments. I have not only a transcript of the conversation, i even have a copy of the lease-contract, which states the original price.
If I was a bit impolite, it's because of the grotesque, even unthinkable behaviour he showed to me. Which was a economical crime, for which there is no excuse. Don't know, miss Kelley what he is like to u. And to be honest, I don't care. Some notorious persons from history, known to have been responsible for the most horrible crimes, were very nice to their dog.

A deal is a deal, in real life and in the second. I can't be nice to salesmen who forget that fundamental principle. So please, Miss Kelley - I dare you to publish the dialogue. And let the public decide!
