I like to write. It helps clear my mind, and it's just plain old fun. I have a ridiculous amount of time on my hands, and not because I live in an oppressive regime as Philip would have you believe, but mostly because I lie about how much time I have on my hands.
I'm thinking about jumping on the bandwagon...I know - I'm late for the party again. At any rate, a lot of people here are familiar with my writing style. Would anyone actually read my blog if I started one? I promise, no bitterness. Maybe a typo here and there, but no bitterness. I just don't want to do it if I'm the only one interested in it. That seems a little narcissistic, but it's true.

In a heartbeat. I tend to be a little long-winded. It might take several heartbeats if you want to get through the whole thing. OK - if I do it, it will certainly be different than a lot of the blogs I've seen. As my high school guidance counselor told me repeatedly, I lack focus. He also told me that I was destined for no good. The guy was clairvoyant! I should have some general theme beyond general half-drunken mumbling and incoherent rants. Let me see if I can work something up tonight, and I'll set up the blog tomorrow. Edit: Nika - if I do it, you have to do it, too. _____________________

tip: write a handful of posts before you publish. dont even write them in a blogging engine. write em locally on your computer. make sure you get past that enlightened first couple of posts. it's difficult to return to a stale blog. just my own experience. of course, if youre doing current events this wouldnt be good advice
