SLJoe Productions is pleased to announce the release of the SLJoe show. This Second Life filmed investigative news series will feature weekly video shows that focus on topics within Second Life and outside of Second Life.

The SLJoe show features cutting edge investigative reporting, along with the latest in animation technology. The show has released its first pilot episode which is the following:

•Pilot – Traffic Counter. So you want to find out the most popular locations within Second Life. However, before you select those popular locations keep in mind that the current traffic counting system in Second Life promotes locations that welcome campers. Why would you want to go to a Second Life location populated with campers? SLJoe exposes the flaws in the current Second Life traffic counters and gives Linden Labs a little advice…

Episodes that are in development include the following:

•Under aged High School Sex & Second Life. We conducted an extensive undercover investigation involving Second Life location's that appeared to be operating under aged high schools. What appeared to be normal schools of education appeared to be nothing more than a great location for deviant teachers to prey on under aged students? How does a history class where for every wrong answer, the student loses a piece of clothing or classroom's that include sex desks as spanking counselor rooms...

•Trademarks, Second Life and the Wild West. From Canadian donut's to Las Vegas casino's and just about everything in between. These locations are not owned or licensed from the rightful trademark holders but instead from Second Life scammers, profiting from these well known names. SLJoe exposes the trademark violators along with some very harsh warnings from the trademark owners and their legal counsel…

•Second Life Stock Market, can it survive? Second Life World Stock Market, stumbles and try's to make its mark. From resignations to scandals – is it nothing more than a quick buck for it’s creators at the loss of investors or could it survive? But could it be too late as the real world stock markets get ready to put public money in the hands of Second Life ventures.

When asked why you would come out with an investigative news show for Second Life, SLJoe’s response was quite simple, “Second Life is like the Wild West – anything goes with very little direction or law enforcement. The perfect place for scandals, scam’s and rip off’s”. When asked how the feedback has been so far, SLJoe responded “While the first episode is a little on the tame side, we certainly got our share of feedback during filming and reporting on the next two episodes Under aged High school sex and Trademark, Second Life and the Wild West. During the news gathering and investigative reporting, we experienced everything from emails full of support but also physical threats if we took the shows into production. It is kind of interesting that even within an animated online world; you have to take steps of real life security in light of feedback received”.

What is the SLJoe show trying to accomplish? “Second Life in a whole new prospective” is the show’s slogan and that is exactly what the SLJoe show will accomplish.

The SLJoe is published weekly and is available through the SLJoe.com (http://www.SLJoe.com) web site, YouTube, Blip.tv, MySpace and ITunes under the SLJoe search term.
