Hi all,

I arrived in SL a few months ago and -loved- it. I had tried SL some years back but was frustrated by the user interface. This time I went through some Torley videos (YAY TORLEY) as well as taking the time to properly master the camera controls.

Anyway, I've been doing a lot of building since I arrived, and in that time I've come across products that really suck and products that I love. One of the challenges, I find, is that there is SO MUCH STUFF OUT THERE that it takes time to sort through the dreck, so it can be tempting to just buy the first affordable thing that comes up on a search.

I've also found that higher-priced items in SL don't necessary translate into quality, and that low-priced/free items are sometimes better than their more expensive competitors.

In hopes of saving SL users from spending unnecessary Linden dollars and time, I'm going to start highlighting some of my favourite products.

My blog is geared more toward people that build things in SL than people who buy things, just to warn you. So rather than posting reviews of what I think are the best clothes stores in SL, for example, I'm more likely to post about the best resources and tools for making flexi-prim skirts. Or where to get the best textures. Or some cool gadget thingy that can help make your house-building way easier.
