Hi everyone. I am doing a small feasibility study for my university which aims to investigate the process of setting up in Second Life. For the sake of this experiment I am doing a small exhibition for the design department which showcases work and provides more information on the courses available. I have some design sketches up for my Second Life space and I really need some feedback on them.. so if you have a minute to help out and vote on some architecture designs please jump over to my blog here:

http://eliseschnyder.blogspot.com/

(please note I would specifically like current, recent and potential university students to vote but feedback from anyone is most welcome)

I would appreciate any critique or collaboration ^^!

Thanks for looking!

Hello. Im no uni student but done my share of SL building. I read your page and voted for 5, its open and interesting but with a twist. Obviously be a bit larger.

Good luck with your project.

Been an ex-student for a year and a half, I like the designs you've put forward but their scale looks to be rather small for Second Life in my opinion. I would like to see designs 3, 5 and 10 built in-world but for me the one which stands out has to be design 6, circular platforms with a twisting, double-helix-like supports. All the best with the project, can't wait to see the final outcome.

Thank you! I think that's my personal favourite as well, it fits in very well with the look of the university too. True that it could be a bit larger, I also need to consider the fact that the average avatar in SL is 7 foot >.>

Thank you for your input! :)

Thanks for your opinion! I really appreciate the people that have participated already. It's interesting that the feedback I have received so far is quite diverse but I am already seeing which ones are probably not good choices.

You're indeed right that they are a bit small. We are purchasing a modest sized space but I definately need to consider the height of the avarage avatar!
