We offer many civilizations such as , Rome, Sparta, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, England all based in ancient times.

We have aprox. 5 cash paying combat torunaments a day between all the sims.

One of the most popular is the Gladiator Games held daily at 6:00pm Sl Time in The Roman Empire.

I have been in Secondlife for two years now and I have to admit that after all of the places I have ever been on SL, there is no place I enjoy more than the RPG Empires. The roleplay is great, I love to watch the daily games at 6pm, and the people truely make this place what it is!

I absolutely love spending most of my sl in Rome. It's amazing! I fell in love with Rome back in January 08 as newbie. The people of the RPG sims are so welcoming and helpful to new sl-er's and roleplayers. I am now a member of the famous and slightly infamous Vestal Virgins as well as an active member of the RPG Committee.
Like the ruins of the true Eternal City, The Roman Empire is a must see and experience. Like SuzieSheer said it's TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!!!!!

I first duck walked into Rome in February and was instantly captivated by the gladiators and the endless possibilities. Now, six months later with a smoother glide, I am still enthralled.

MikeD, you have created fascinating worlds for the enjoyment of us gamers. I for one applaud you, for turning your farsighted visions into a virtual realities. Many forums emerged from your talents, some in which we now happily skewer each other on a daily bases. Oh what bliss, bringing mayhem and destruction down on those savage barbarian’s hapless skulls.

Now with deeper, more intense story lines being tossed into the mix, it will only heighten the whole role playing experience, bringing it to new levels. I look forward to the future of our ever evolving Rome and of the new flood of creativity from our expanding circle of extremely talented citizens.

I've been in Rome, peripherally, for about a month, showing here and there to watch the gladitorial games when one legionnaire in particular fights. It is a sight to behold, truthfully. The beauty is there, the splendor.. all around, one can't miss the glory of Rome.

One of the complaints I have heard in the last few months from several people (from other unrelated sims), however, was the lack of roleplay. That if one was not involved in combat, one didn't have a hope to get involved.

That, however, is happily changing, if it ever was the case. Non-combatants are gaining a voice in play; civilians walk the streets shopping, families are growing and taking shape, showing their personalities in little ways, with more to come!

In all, Rome is a wonderful sim, forever growing and changing, getting better with each person that arrives and finds a home.

I have been on SL for over a year. I have experienced alot of differant places. I can honestly say that the RPG Empire is the best place I have found in SL. What makes the place .... the Gladiator games .... the Relic Wars .... the Raiding ... and of yes, the people and the Roleplay. So go back in time and experience something differant from the norm in SL. You will be greatly surprised.

I've been in SL for almost a year now and in Rome for the last 4 to 5 months ... being here has given a new dimension to my SL experience !!
I've found great friends, exciting adventures (like my kidnapping to Sparta by my husband to be last week !), I've expanded my knowledge of the ancient civilizations by researching for my role as a Vestal Virgin and about the different influential families of Rome ... anyways, come visit us ... !! we have many attractions besides the combats, which are AWSOME by the way !!!

Details and Rules

Tournaments to be held 10 consecutive Saturdays.

Prizes $70,000L for winner, $20,000L for 2nd and $10,000L for 3rd

Scoring is on a points system so you can still win if you haven't made all tournaments

Scoring is assigned for each games as follows,

* 1st Place 50 Points
* 2nd Place 40 Points
* 3rd Place 30 Points
* 4th Place 20 Points
* 5th Place 17 Points
* 6th Place 15 Points
* 7th Place 13 Points
* 8th Place 10 Points
* 9th Place 7 Points
* 10th Place 5 Points

Fights will happen in rounds,

1st round winners move on, losers out

2nd round winners move on, losers out (unless less than 10 winners than losers will fight a side fight for positions remaining)

3rd round winners move on, losers only stay if less than 10 winners (side fights for positions remaining)

4th round winners move on, If more than 10 winners than losers out (side fights to break ties)

5th round winners to be determined with as many fights as required to break all ties

Points will be posted on website within 24 hours after tournament.

Tie Breaker Options, deals can be made with participants in the final ten at any time if everyone agrees, for example if there is a tie for last 5 positions they may wish to add up all points and divide by 5 equally.



RULES,

1. Must be registered at www.rpgempire.org this is so we know you had access to all the rules and details

2. Must be a main group member of one of the sims participating and must be shown in profile

3. The Only scripted Items or weapons you are allowed to wear are the Tournament Meter and the Tournament Sword. They will be specially scripted to ensure no cheating. Remove all other HUDs and A/O's. Any Attempt to hack, modify the meter or weapon will result in a ban.

4. You must be registered by 10:00am the day of the tournament Registration starts at 8:00am Sl Time, go to the Arena of the sim hosting that day. Being registered for prior tournaments does not register you for future ones. You will then be provided a landmark where the staging area is, You will be responsible to be at staging area by 12:00pm Sl time and wait for your name to be called. when your name is called you will be teleported directly into the arena to fight, anyone moving on to next round must return to staging. This is to keep Lag down for everyone.

5. Fighting order is establish by wins then by alphabetical order by first then last name.

6. You may only fight in sims you are not banned in, bans will not be removed so you can fight.

7. Crashing, if you crash the time limit to return is 3 minutes. If sim crashes then 5 minutes after sim restored.

8. Lag, we all deal with it. No exceptions can be made. You will have a maximum of 60 seconds from teleport to arena to rezz and get ready. The master of games in charge at the host sim will have final say.

9. Since no scripted objects are allowed therefore only the SL jump and run is allowed. No extra animations, flying sliding or anything fancy is allowed.

10. If you leave the staging area it is your responsibility to return in time for your name to be called no exceptions can be made due to time constraints - therefore allow several hours each Saturday.

11. Odd number of fighters will result in a person who has already won the match prior to fight again, the out come will not count for the fighter who won the previous match. The win or loss onlycounts for the odd fighter who had not fought.


12. All fights are one on one only

13. Have fun, respect other peoples sims and GM`s your in thier home regardless of your title in your home sim. No Drama, No sore losers
