Our first milestone has been reached: 1000 SLProfiles members! I would like the opportunity to thank everyone for making this site a success. We've been getting an average of around 26000 page views a day and we're convinced that this number will go up in the near future. So - it's time to celebrate! As you might have noticed on the main page of our www.SLProfiles.com site, 2 contests have been launched. One of the contests - a picture contest -is organized by one of our members. Make sure to submit your picture as Ozz is giving away L$3,000 in total! Thanks Ozz  SLProfiles is also organizing a Second Life Contest where you can win $L6,000! The first 7 pictures have been submitted for our picture contest, make sure to submit yours. You can submit pictures in the following categories:
1. Best all around picture. Members will vote. Any pic of the member is game.
2. Best Halloween Pic. Members will vote. This must be an avatar only, taken in Second life environment. Well Halloween is coming up fast-and I like this time of year. The most original, scary, hair raising, intriguing, mood setting, atmosphere, awesome Halloween AV, or Halloween place with your AV in the pic, etc wins
3. Funniest SL pic. Members will vote. This must be an avatar only, taken in Second life environment. Looking for a pic that will break down the hardest, coldest, most serious heart into a roaring bowl of jelly, rolling on the floor laughing. So create a funny situation or whatever your imagination can come up with.
4. Best SL pose. Judges will vote. This pic should have everything that makes a good pic. Beauty, mystique, professionalism, prop accuracy, color blending and distribution, imaginary, mood, etc. It is a plus if the pic stimulates an emotion and feeling consistent with the pose. Standing, sitting, anything your heart and mind can produce. I want to see style, finesse, and creativity.
5. Best SL Cool/Action shot. Judges will vote. Use your imagination, don’t send X rated pics, that is not the action I’m looking for in this category. If you don’t know what an action pictures should look like, get a dictionary or go to a DVD movie rental store and look under ACTION-hehe.
6. Best real life pic. Judges will vote. Use your imagination, anything goes-as long as it meets the requirements for this web site and is posted on your profile page, it just has to be a real person photo of you, not someone else and not edited or air brushed-glamour shots will not be considered.
We've also received our first entries from people that entered our marble count contest!
