We created a game situated in and around an abandoned ghost town somewhere in the American country. This game is unlike any other game in Second Life. You as a gold miner or prospector can find real gold and earn real cash!

Nugget Gulch is a forgotten ghost town abandoned by its residents. What only few people know is, there is still a tresure in gold hidden in the mountains. Get your tools and try your luck. You might find your super nugget today! We have about 70.000 worth of objects hidden in the Sim today!

The game is situated in the most lovely authentic scenery known to Second Life. The goal of the game is to find as many valuable objects in this desert and the mountains as you possibly can within a given timespan. You can find Gold, Silver, Coins, Spurs, etc. Below you will find a list of possible finds and their value. The Nugget Gulch Developer Team is constantly working to improve the game and the scenery. As the game will grow we will add new exiting features and interactivity. We try to bring you the best possible, authentic atmosphere. The Nugget Gulch Sim is not an RPG but we like our visitor to blend in with the scenery as much as possible.

Wowies, this is nice I'll visit soon!

I'm disappointed in this game. There is a major catch which is not mentioned anywhere, until you get to a dead end. It's fun, but in the end you lose tons of lindens. After that it's not fun anymore.

Since I have the right to free speech, let me make myself clear.

I bought a mining tool (required) for $250L. After about five minutes of searching, I won about $30L and the time was up - for the game to continue I had to go back to the mining office and "pay". After some prodding, I came to know that I was supposed to pay another $250L. So on and so forth.

It's a beautiful concept of a game, but it's a rip-off.

The game creator says there is a weekly $1000L to be won, but you are more likely to lose much more than $1k of lindens than to win that.

Not all true Nimue, if you check the high score table at: http://www.contrechoc.com/sl/high_scores.php you will see other people are finding gold and earning cash with the game. We suggest you come back again and make a better effort in trying to find some. Others before you did. Take a loot at the top of the high score table and see for yourself.

The game is devided in 2 skill levels, 1, the 'Classic' game for people that just want to enjoy the scenery and have some fun. And the 'Pro' game for the gamers who also come visit Nugget Gulch. Pro is more difficult with bigger prize and bonus finds.

Thats for the game. Why dont we hear som comment about the scenery we created for you guys. We have a lot of nice interactive features in the desert that you wont find anywhere else in a game.
