official second life Social Network

Its very new and needs all second life members to signup for free, make new friends get ad credits for the Advertising board website when its running.
The Social Network is made so all second life members can be seen in one place so you can make new friends get more business, tell everyone about your new Events, new business start ups and so on come on in heres the link

yup more coming in now but its a bit slow,
I go about in world and tell others about the website,
and some of the time I think that others in world think its a scam or some other things there think about lol,
the Advertising website is going up soon.
@ only $1 a ad this will keep the running costs down for the websites,
also going to be Advertising the 2 websites in world 2
so in time a new website will be made but we need to get loads more in.

Ok, first up, its not "official" your going to get your backside kicked for that I can see it coming in your future.

Same for using the SecondLife in the name, from memory that always has been and still is a nono, another butt kicking.

and lastly, you mentioned some people have said they thing it is a scam, no surprise, the two above comments, and the fact its not on its own domain name would make people wary.

I'm not being mean, just making some comments you might want to address.

oh, and p.s. SecondLife *IS* the social network, I can't see a need for a 2d one, but thats just me.

Just to add yet another questionable nono to the list, they are also using the Second Life logo as their own logo.

"official"?? This doesn't seem to be endorsed by Linden Lab...

Oh, on the note of "Official" Second Life is indeed the social network and Linden Lab is creating my.secondlife.com which will be the "2D" social network end of Second Life?

But yeah, using Official + Second + Life in any non Linden Research inc product. is a No-No

Plus the fun names get more attention /me coughs: Gooogle

Even after that you still want to continue I would suggest a few things "/me Not going to be an *Bleep* in this post and will actually post constructive feedback"

1. Think about changing the name to sound more fun / different?
2. Make sure you put out a disclaimer telling people that this is really unofficial and not endorsed by linden lab. because you have a lot of copyrighted content on that website and this at the bottom "Second Life brought to you by damien © 2007"
3. Cater to the people, this is a given. The people in Second Life to me seam very much like the young my generation and there for everything is about them.
4. Move it off of Ning, Althought sure it is easy to use it for a staple social network dose not mean you can cater and form a Social Network for second life residents. IE make it unique. "You seam to be doing that?"
