Finally open, after weeks of designing, coding and testing! Second Citizen and Second Citizen | Forums Note: In order to see the splash page ( www.secondcitizen.com), you'll need the shockwave player/plugin. The Forums @ Second CitizenRunning: vBulletin version 3.5.4 (the latest). The same good old forum software you're familiar with here. vBulletin hacks: I add code modifications and plugins to spice up the forums and/or add additional features that aren't standard with vB. Thanks Rick, appreciate the comment.
Update Feb 17, 2006
You no longer need to register for Second Citizen forums with your Second Life name! Nicknames are now allowed. And you no longer need to IM/PM me with an account activation request.
Yep. All you have to do is register. No waiting for account upgrades. No email confirmations. Just register, and you can post!
------ Edit:
I've also made the forums public. So you no longer need to register/activate to view all the forums. Feel free to lurk about a while if you don't feel like participating or getting an account.

I really like the care you put behind this, Alexander. The Shockwave intro was also fun--reminds me of a certain fave time-travel movie of mine. I'm going to sign up for your forums shortly. Thanx for posting in my SL social sites thread!

Thank you so much for saying that! The forums are a little ghost-towny at the moment, but we're still new and don't have too many contributing members (which is partly why I added the RSS feeds forums - gets some posts going on there by the handy "article bot" Heh Thanks again for the kind words, and for even taking the time to come over and register. And PS > I so want to get your pic for the Citizens album in the shockwave intro - But it suddenly dawned on me: You're a Linden now, and according to the rules for Fansites and Affiliates, no Linden pictures on websites. Boo! Ah well.

From: Alexander Bard And PS > I so want to get your pic for the Citizens album in the shockwave intro - But it suddenly dawned on me: You're a Linden now, and according to the rules for Fansites and Affiliates, no Linden pictures on websites. Boo! Ah well. Ah--specifically, that limitation applies to commercial usage: From: someone Additional Requirements for Commercial Fansites No Branding. You may not use the Linden Lab or Second Life name, or the "Hand" logo, within your masthead or other primary branding for your website.
No Sale of Goods or Services. You may not use the Linden Lab or Second Life name, logos or other marks on any goods or services offered for sale on your website, whether physical, digital or virtual.
Screenshot Limitations. You may not use screenshots containing Linden avatars or objects or any comments or writings by Linden employees in any manner that may be construed as promotion of the sale of goods and services on your website.
No Derogation. You may not use the Second Life name, logos or other marks or intellectual property of Linden Lab in any manner that Linden Lab considers derogatory to Second Life or Linden Lab. SourceMy emphasis in red. It doesn't appear like that applies to your website, so if that's the case, let's meet sometime inworld and do this!
