Hi Friends (new friends!)

I started getting emails from people and IMs in world asking for advice on taking SL love RL because of a magazine story published here in Australia about our SL2RL love affair (that has now turned into an SL2RL baby story). We met on SL in June of '07, fell in love from half way around the world (USA and AU), met in Real Life in January of '08, immediately got RL pregnant (within three days of arrival), and are now getting married and are due to have our daughter in early October.

It occured to me that so many of us are on SL "in love", that perhaps we needed a place to share our stories, look for advice and ideas, and simply to validate that **YES SL love can be REAL**.

We're working on just that...and no, at the moment, we aren't making any money on the deal either.

Created by a couple who met on Second Life, then travelled half way around the world to meet in Real Life, immediately got pregnant with a daughter due in October, and are now getting married.

This blog starts the development of a new site, SL2RLlove.com, that will provide free love advice and personal access for people to share their own love stories from Second Life that will be live in the next few weeks!

Congratulations! That is great!

What I think is the best about SL, you actually get to know the other person quite well, not only by chatting there and doing fun stuff, but also by the RL emails you might start sending. In a way that kind of relationship is deeper than one based on looks only or brief encounters limited by RL time restrictions. SL is a better place to meet that special someone than the traditional chat places or matching places.

I wish you both well, and I hope to hear more happy endings, since I have heard and seen so many sad ones...
