I interview Philip and discuss Second Life as we walk around downtown Austin, TX. I cut the inteview to make it accessible to people unfamiliar with Second Life.

I then follow Athena and AthenaTwin, founders of the PMS Clan as they enter Second Life for the first time.

Why was it moved? It's a General interest internview with Philip. Jeez. Over-zealous moderation today on the part of several ResMods.

Its part of a site to do with SL, it was also reported for being in the wrong forum, I thought it fitted better here, and wouldn't get lost in the mass of General threads.

How hard is it to understand that third party sites and things related to them go in the Fan Sites forum - it's not exactly complicated.

Actually, my Friends Talking website is NOT a SL fan site. It's a site/podcast about business, society, and culture. I recently did a podcast on Second Life. I have also done podcasts on the Long Tail, Futures Studies, etc.

I can tell you that it's not particularly clear where a post about a story on Second Life fits in the Forums, that's why I put it in General.

Now, I don't particularly care where it goes and you guys know the nature of the boards better than I do, but I think your justification for moving it is incorrect. Friends Talking is not an SL fan site.

Where would the recent story on Gamasutra about Philip's talk at the 2006 GDC go? Is Gamasutra an SL fan site? Would C/NET be considered an SL fansite if it ran a story on SL?
