After reading about problems with the LSL-Wiki I have grabbed a snapshot of the October 6, 2006 mirror and added it to my Second Life Home Page Portal. LSL-Wiki Mirror: http://slhomepage.com/lsl/index.htm Sorry I don't have a simple sub-domain, for some reason "default.htm" is taking precedence ovr "index.htm" and my Control Panel isn't showing an easy fix. I have a sub-domain registered and will add that address as soon as a get some support from my provider. The other parts of the Portal: SLHomePage Forums: http://forums.slhomepage.com/ A clone of the Official Forums from before the first round of closures. Second Life TopSites: http://topsites.slhomepage.com/ An implementation of the Aardvark TopSites engine. Add your site to the network! Feature Voting Tool Prototype: http://slhandbook.com/fvt.asp A beta of additional features and views into the FVT, a project intended to be developed with Resident and Linden Lab needs addressed.

From: Clubside Granville for some reason "default.htm" is taking precedence ovr "index.htm" and my Control Panel isn't showing an easy fix... i experienced this on my 2 servers ... dunno really why, but im looking into it just incase you didnt know ... here is a quickfix i stuck a .htaccess file under my mirror directory please note where you stick these files can effect different parts of your website, but anyway... DirectoryIndex HomePage.htm
if you have a .htaccess file in your mirror directory add that line to it if not (which is the way i "shipped" it) you need to make a text file with that line in it... to make that file use any text editor, save as plain text and rename, using your ftp client, to .htaccess once uploaded in your mirror directory

Thanks for the info Angela, I guess I was trying to respond to those error messages I saw being reported in Linden Answers about processing time being exceeded or somesuch. I will make sure to put a link up directly to the official site, but am happy to maintain a mirror "just in case", and will seek out future updates if you can point me to a snapshot location. Your file worked perfectly Osgeld, as you can see now if you go to: http://lsl.slhomepage.com I know the file you described, but it's been a few years since I played with Apache! Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks everyone. It appears the CPU Resource problem is up again, a number of posts popping up. Just bumping the thread to make sure everyone knows there's a temporary alternative. Anything I can do regarding helping with a permanent solution just let me know.
