Greetings to all and ATTENTION ALL MERCHANTS of SECONDLIFE!!
If you are a seller of SecondLife content, no matter where (in-world stores, Xstreet, or other SL Online Shopping websites) and no matter how big or small a seller you are (just starting out or running 100s of stores). Then you are a SL MERCHANT!
Each of us SL Merchants has so much knowledge and experience and creativity. We need a place where we can all talk about our Creating & Selling & Marketing of our content with others.
We also need a place that is secured and private that removes any restriction to allow us Merchants to express our ideas, thoughts, opinions openly. Some SL topics are not allowed in the Secondlife commerce blogs because it would mention competing services or interests to LL's XSTREET. So a group was needed for Merchants to allow full freedom to talk about ALL topics.
Well a group called SL MERCHANTS group has been created a couple months ago which operated independantly on google groups site. As popular as it was with great postings and lots of traffic, the group felt we need more privacy in our postings and we need a much more rich FOURMS hostings service.
As of Dec 18th, our group has moved to its Brand New Digs! With a forums structure that resembles the good old XSTREET Forums days... and with privacy in most forums for Merchants to talk about ANY topic related to selling in Secondlife. Registration has taken off already in the 1st 10 days.
