How to Fix the Forums: Vote Prop 1355 http://secondthoughts.typepad.com/second_thoughts/2006/05/fixing_the_foru.htmlThe names of perpetrators of forums offenses, the links to the offending forums posts *and* the names of the chief abuse-reporters *and* the names of the prosecuting ResMods and Linden forums moderators should be published on the SL Police Blotter. Just as in RL, all parties to the dispute and the judicial case should be revealed in the interests of fairness, impartiality, and transparency, to create a better system of precedent, better understanding of what constitutes a legitimate TOS violation and "speech offense," and most of all to make forums posters, ResMods, and Lindens take ownership for their governance of the forums in a responsible and credible manner. http://secondlife.com/vote/index.php?get_id=1355

Wasting your votes, it's for feature suggestions (changes to the client/server requiring coding) - not policy changes.
Heres a quote from one such suggestion - the bill of rights one near the top - if you search you'll find many statements like this in Linden Comments:
"It has been closed because it doesn't require code changes to implement. Therefore we should continue to discuss the question, just not as a proposed Second Life feature."
