"In a world where everything was changing, there arose a new presence. A presence that was first heard of only as rumour. But the growing rumours lead, as all rumours do, to the belief that the rumours may be true, and indeed they were. They appeared first in small numbers, lurking like garden gnomes in the shadows, and then appearing out of thin air in front of strangers, following them around, and soon they were everywhere. Some were seen carrying groceries home for little old ladies. Others greeted passers-by with news of their masters whereabouts, and passed on vital messages. Some were charged with reminding people of important events and information, or simply keeping track of information for those they had pledged to serve. Still others bestowed magic gifts fitting an Arabian prince that guided travellers far and high across the grid. And all performed acts to delight young and old with blazes of colours and shapes that were a wonder to behold.
In their multi-coloured forms and speaking their strange language to one another, with powers beyond those of normal Avatars, here to do good for the residents of Secondlife, the TEXI PETS had arrived!!"
