Ok, in light of some of the anti-American rhetoric put forth in this forum by certain members on the other side of the pond, I found the following article quite amusing about Britain's proclivity for pirated American tv shows:

It's true, all the best tv shows on here are american. TV companies here only produce shite makeover shows and reality tv now. Funnily enough the formats of some of our worst tv shows have been sucessfully exported around the world including the US.

I must admit to downloading the odd episode of Las Vegas and Numb3rs. Las Vegas is about 8 episodes behind on Sky atm. Numb3rs hasn't been shown at all and probably won't be until season 2 shows in the US (Cold Case took about 6 months to make it over here), if it gets to season 2. If it doesn't there's a channel here called FX289 which runs (and heavilty advertises) shows that have already been cancelled! Like they showed ESPN's Playmakers and I was just getting into it when I found it had been cancelled long before it was shown here.

I've managed to watch the entire season of Stargate Atlantis before it aired in the USA through BitTorrent. At better resolutions and no commercials, no less.
