Thanks for the heads up. We hope to have it fixed tomorrow and make up for lost payments.

Haney, Thanks very much. Our dwell was a result of a LOT of really hard work by a bunch of people. It would suck if we didn't get it back..:)

Thanks for looking into it

Fixing today's dwell would be great, but I still haven't been reimbursed for dwell on the day the world crashed for a few hours. :(

Nor has anyone else - even small event holders suffered dwell losses that day - are our losses being considered for compensation?

Merwan--that week I was hosting non-Linden supported "Financial Tips For New People: Protect Your Wallet" events on my land; Dwell was my only compensation for those events.

Yep - and you should be compensated for lost dwell.

:-)

hehe.. I'm not worried.. I still have yet to be paid for the last three events I hosted, despite sending in all the required information. I just always figure LL is a few steps behind us, but keep the faith that they will catch up. :)

No, I was not compensated for that day, because I didn't log in. However, one of my tenants also paid me that day, so that was another monetary loss from that day. And furthermore, I don't log in every day to make money, so the few times I do recieve change you better believe I glow. So that day's loss WAS important to me. I sent an e-mail to LL about it just a day or two after it happened and I've still not recieved a reply of any sort. Compensating for those who logged in indiscriminately is not an effective way of fixing a problem. Not compensating for people who DID accrue loss on that day is furthering the problem.

The rollback means they still have the money that they paid you. Their payment might as well never have happened because, well, it didn't. Just have them pay you no and you lose nothing. Nor do they.

Ah. Okay. Then the tenant didn't pay me for that day. He quit that weekend, so blah, I got jipped. But anyway, that doesn't negate everything else.
