Hello Friends,
Some you won't give a crap but some of you will so I just had to post! I passed my thesis defense with distinction (which is very exciting) But! I also got a phone call today and . . .
I got a new job! I can't believe it. It's my first real job, as a low-level marketing exec for a wonderful non-profit that I really believe in. I'll be doing everything I love to do -- writing, doing graphic design, and educating people. It's the perfect job for me, really, in so many ways. And it has fantastic benefits AND it's working on an educational ranch so I get to be surrounded by nature and cows and camels and pigs and fields of veggies and all kinds of fun stuff all day. AND I get to drive through the mountains to get there every day.
So . . .just wanted to say, LIFE IS GOOD!!

a real job is what most people need to exist in this world; unfortunately, most people end up having to settle for something they don't really enjoy, just to 'bring home the bacon'..
it is a rare and beautiful thing to be able to do what you love to do AND make a living doing it!

Now tell that Hubby of yours to get that darn security system for the Carwash so you don't have to be concerned with all the mucking out of the stalls!!!!
