These forums say you can attach a file of 4,194,304 bytes or greater.

I've tried twice now to attach a file 3,943,424 bytes large, and it won't let me. Yes, it's a zip file.

These forums LIE.

You're crazy....

Although, with the insane bandwidth LL seems to have, they could probably handle it...

HOW does LL pay for their bandwidth anyway? How??? It seems like it would be sooo expensive...

You know it would take you a million years to upload a file of that size anyway. :p

But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Garoad, that is 4 megabytes. That would take about 3 minutes on my 640k down/256 up dsl connection.

It's not that much! When you are LL and you buy THAT MUCH, lets just say you buy in bulk! It's $$$ to us but cheap when you look at how much they get!

Enough to make charging $200 US a month for a sim cost-effective.

Well, unless I'm off my rocker adding sims doesn't increase their bandwidth needs--adding players does. Right?

They can add all the internal servers they want, and as long as it's all connected to their own little network the only cost would be hardware costs.
