I find it amusing that the people in question attempt to label not on commonality, but disparity. No wonder they can't come up with an answer.

I'd suggest they survey 1000 people, ask them to watch any of the trailers created for SL then answer the question: "What is Second Life?"

I guarantee you that 95% of the respondants would give the answer 'A Game'.

Sometimes common sense just isn't. A pity.

Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. (grin)

The problem with most people is, they forget that games aren't just levels and killing. They're losing their perspective. There is a whole world of games that have nothing whatever to do with 'levels and loot'.

The folks who haven't lost perspective readily admit -- SL is a game.
