Ah, thought this was gonna be a poll, didn't ya? Well, in case ya don't know, The Second Opinion is Second Life's own inhouse newsletter as published by Linden Lab. Contains recent highlights and topics of interest: http://secondlife.com/newsletter/So get readin' if you're curious. Also -- my email is subscribed to the list but I haven't gotten the last few newsletters automatically (although I did get the one from Oct. 15). Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hey Torley,
I doubt this applies to you or you would know about it already but I have heard about people's spam filters thinking mail from secondlife.com was spam.

Thanks for chiming in, guys... I'm gonna check with the Linden family to see if there's some sort of problem involving delivery since there are several of us who've not received the news... hrmmm...

I've been talking to Robin a bit about delivery issues. Some of them are summed up in a powerpoint from my last job http://www.netconcepts.com/deliverability.ppt

okies....i will check it out. Didnt know it was a Linden deal. Thought it was individual and a tabloid type rag that I would have to read between lines to find some truth. (TRUTH!.....YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH)....

I'm sorry you haven't been getting the newsletter. A couple thoughts:
- Pirate has volunteered to give us some pointers on email sending which should help our mail get through - I'll check the mail list and see if you're on it (you should be, according to the sign-up) - We're going to make the newsletter more of a newspaper, with (hopefully) more regular updates. Notices of updates will still get mailed periodically, but those of you who want to can use an RSS feed to get the updates directly from the web site rather than depending on email.
