I just thought I would pass this along to you guys. I am really impressed with this spyware removal program.

I have used Ad-Aware and Spybot and when running them after each other, each have found files the other missed. Spy Sweeper does a really deep search and finds additional files both the others missed. In addition, the others dont find anything if I run Spy Sweeper first. Like I said, Im really impressed.

It is not a free program, but I think it will be worth paying for. But, there is a free demo. I suggest downloading it and running it after you have cleaned your system of spyware with your current programs and see how it does. Anyway, hope you can get some use of this program if you didnt know about it. Free demo in the downloads section.

Spy Sweeper

note: This company has a lot of programs, I have only tried Spy Sweeper. Based on its performance, I would think that the other programs would be worth a look as well.

Loki:

Thanks for the head's up! I have been meaning to run some sort of software like this for awhile. I bought my computer brand new and have never used it for email, but I do surf the web occasionally with it. I have mainly used it only for gaming.

I downloaded the demo and ran it. Spy Sweeper found 42 instances of spyware on my machine. It was very easy to use and definately worth the money I'll be paying when I buy the regular version.

I appreciate you posting this.

Glad you got some use of it. The first time I used it, I ran it immediately after running Spybot. Spy Sweeper found an additional three registry edits and about 30 more tracking cookies.

I like Spybot, but I think I am going to pay to use Spy Sweeper. The two year plan seems like a decent deal. There is just so many spyware attacks these days, makes sense to get serious about keeping my system clean.

I am not really knocking free programs, they do a good job. I am just really impressed with how completely Spy Sweeper seems to work.
