What a magical picture

You can see the early floppy disks on the desk, and those ancient computers. I think in those photos Bill is trying to look good. I have no idea how well Microsoft is doing at that point. Amazing to look at the youngish man and think he'll become the richest man alive

In 1983 Microsoft licensed ms-dos to 100 vendors ....by 1985 he was worth 390 million and by 87 he was a billionaire. Most of his money up to 85 was made on ms-dos, excel, and word. Windows wasn't even released until november of 85.
