Lindenworld Servers

As expected the server FPS at lindenworld dropped to 25 or 20... so my ride doesn't even work anymore.
How fast are these servers anyway? Can they not be replaced by faster server (only for lindenworld) or can't you divide lindenworld in 8 parts or something? or is that not supported by the game to have diffrent sizes for servers?

It would be quite cool if LL could distribute the load on Luna and Coney over more sims, however, I fear that the processing might be even more laggy, an example would be crossing over sim borders.

Most of the lag in both sims is caused by avitars, as both have > 10 avitars in them more often then not, 1.1 WILL fix this.

It isn't avatars. I've gone there in the dead of night and been the only person there and it still runs like molasses. Cold molasses.

It is possible, (and what I am hoping) that there are one or two builds that are using up much more than their fair share of resources, and that once these are found/fixed, things will run nicely.

("Hey Wednesday, how do you know it's not _your_ build that's slowing the sim down?"

"Because my build uses some physics, and I turned it off because it was unuseable with the sim in the state it is"

"But doesn't that mean that you're not accumulating any dwell time now, specifically because you're trying to be a good citizen?"
