When does this get paid???

Curious about that too. I assumed it would be when they paid for an account, but a friend has done that and i have seen an extra $3000 inworld yet hehe.

And i made a point of bugging them ALOT to use my spread the word link lol... teehee

Crimson - you got hit by an unusual bug and didn't get paid. Peter's going to pay you.

Aurelie - the only person who listed you as their referrer is Andrew Epoch, who never logged in and so didn't become a paying member.

The bonus is paid when the referred resident converts to a paying membership, typically at the end of the five-day trial. People who don't log in after creating their trial account don't get converted.

The biggest problem I had with this was getting an answer. I bugged the crap out of Char..she sent 1 or 2 emails. I asked like 2-3 other Lindens who didnt know. I sent an email Sunday and still havent got an answer. Thats why I posted here today. It would have been nice if someone had just come in game and told me what was going on or replyed to my email. I am in game like 10 hours a day.

When I registered, I tried to put down Ama Omega as a referral but the last name Omega was not on the drop-down list! Is it too late for him to get paid, or was he given something back in April? Heh I think the cash would help him with his 5k per week taxes...

Thanks for pointing this out. Crimson, apologies for taking so long to respond, it's been a hectic week and we finally got the examining referrals today.

We are making sure that the refferal mechanism works the way it should. In some cases, we have found some rather bizarre bugs that kept the bonuses from being paid.

At 2003-06-24 09:09:53 Apsinthion purchased a paid membership. Also at 2003-06-24 09:09:53 you got paid your referral bonus.

We just don't have a record of kohne giving your name. Sorry.

Hmmm. I was pretty sure I got a 3000 payment before that date. And, since I can account for 4 no-shows plus these two conversions - of the 6 referrals I'm listed for - I have NO idea who the sixth person is, if it isn't kohne.

I'm baffled. I'll look at my account details again and talk to kohne tonight.

I referred Kelwyn Gallant, who bought a lifetime membership. He registered before knowing my SL name, but sent e-mail to Linden Labs about this after buying his lifetime membership, and was told that I would receive the bonus. So far I haven't received a referral bonus for him.
