SL Minors having Sex. Is is ok? If not..what age were you when you first had it?

I thought this would be an interesting topic for those that oppose Sex in SL for Minors. So I pose the question...be honest.

Yes, it's ok. As David pointed out in another thread it's a natural progression. One that parents should have a hand in as far as being open and honest with their children about the ramifications. Talk to them. Understand them. Help them to understand the responsiblitiy and effects of sexual contact.


I was 17, a late bloomer I guess. Maybe it had something to do with the fact my mom sat me down at the kitchen table when I was 13 and had a long talk with me about sex. She did not tell me I couldn't. She did not use possible parental retribution to reinforce. She outlined and then left it to me.

I believe we are sheltering the youth of today WAY too much. It is an issue that parents should be a part of, and if they are doing their job they should be able to control thier childrens actions. I was exposed to 'R' movies at a young age. These movies had sex scenes, violence, death, murder, love, and everything in between. I wasn't sexually active and I didn't run out to mimic the actors. I was well aware of what sex was and it wasn't an issue becuase of it. In a game if someone has sex its not real its equivalent to a movie sex scene and for me has even less stimulus. If children are sheltered and not exposed to one of the safest sexual exhibitions they will be more curious in their RL interactions with the oposite sex. What age were you when you first walked in on your parents doing it? How old were you when you first masturbated? (please dont answer this outloud answer to yourself) my point is our youth are well aware of sex, aware of their own sexuality and are curious. If they aren't exposed to sex nor told about it they will find out themselves the hard way, which could result in many worse issues the gaming knowledge of sex.

Only 5 years ago. I was 16 and she was 14. Granted we loved each other to death and were together for 3 years -- which is forever at that age and still a nice time for any age.

Sex in SL a big deal? No. I was RPing sex online(it was too "in context" for me to dare call it cybering) when I was 13 or 14 and it never made me want to go out there and screw the first girl possible. If anything it was an outlet. I find that RPed sex, massive amounts of pornography and other such things are good -- especially for young boys. I found -- for me atleast -- that these things allowed me to be patient. I've only had sex with two women so fair, but I loved each of them dearly and have plenty of girls now would be willing. But why bang some chicks I don't love? I can go on the internet and take care of my sexual urges while waiting for the next Ms Right to come along.

I never have sex in Second Life, by the way. I think it's silly and cumbersome and would be better handled in writing. But different strokes for different folks.

My first time was around the time I turned 20. It will be 5 years soon, and I'm still with the same girl. She is 27. We love each other dearly and plan on marrying eventually. Of course I have to get my ass out of college and find a decent job first
Sex isnt that big a deal. People used to get married and lead entire friggin kingdoms when they were 14 or 16. Most animals do it as soon as they are physically capable. We should be no different.
I think people should be focusing on sexual education instead of sexual repression. Tell kids that it's ok to screw just about anything if you wear a condom and make condoms readily available to them. Tell girls to get on the pill. It's a godsend. Before my gf started taking it she had horrible menstrual pains to the point that she could not get out of bed. I remember spending hours with her and putting my hand on her stomach to make her feel better.
Nowadays I can practically set my clock by her period.
