What does this mean in object usage? When will they be deleted? By who? Which ones? Deleted ? Moved to inventory? What if things are linked?
I'm over at my store and I need to know what kind of timeframe Im dealing with. It's the holidays... do I have to find time or delete it all myself right now or risk losing things?
Lindens please clarify.

I'm not sure exactly how that works either Mis, but I think we have until January 12th before anything gets deleted.

from what i have seen in the 1.2 preview, linked objects will stay linked when deleted and moved to your inventory. And it goes in the order of what you rezzed last. as for time it gets deleted about 5 min after you rezzed it it think. And will probably start getting deleted after our grace period. yup, the school in sage is gone  |

5 min after you rezzed it? Does this mean that temporary rezzing of stuff for casual events or whatever is gone? If there's an event or something and someone decides to rez an object for the period of the event (for whatever reason) is it going to be deleted in five minutes? That's not good... stuff should be deleted at the end of the night (or whatever) shouldn't it?

Its according to what the land is set at. If you look on About Land (can't remember what part of it) there is a place where a time limit is set for objects not belonging to you to be deleted from that property, the default is 0.

You have until the grace period ends on 12 January, so no need to panic. At that time, any excesss prims over your allotment will be returned to your inventory, after any prims belonging to others are returned to them. From: someone Originally posted by Misnomer Jones

Currently my group is operating under the assumption that on any parcel that currently has more prims than allocated, the excess will be deleted, but on any parcel that is under the limits, they will NOT be deleted, regardless of who put them there. (Unless someone purposely turns on Auto-Delete.)
Is this true?
