Every Friday morning, our employee cafeteria sets out trays of Cinnamon Rolls From Hell. Made on site. About four inches in diameter, and as high as they are broad. And, since the life expectancy of a tray can be measured in minutes, always fresh from the oven. With sour cream icing. Work is 16 minutes away, and I am SO outta here -- yoshi PS The correct complementary beverage is a 16-oz fountain Dr. Pepper.

The movies 'Unleashed' and 'Mindhunters' open today. And, at the theater with the GOOD hotdogs.

Hubby and I are going to see Mindhunters tonight - we're celebrating because we finished something that we have been working for three years on. Lots of Margarita's, Mexican Food and Mindhunters - Yeah! .

Right on the money...only ever-so-slightly larger Willow, it's WONDERFUL stuff. Just a slight hint of a bite to it. Don't let the name turn you off. A proper recipe has 3 metric ton(ne)s of sugar per sour cream molecule. *burp* -- yoshi

We have bagels from Einstein's on Fridays.... I had a chocolate chip one this morning, nice and soft and oh-so-fresh, with whipped cream cheese.... fabulous.
My other half has plans this evening, which will leave the apartment all to me for several hours, so my plan is to pick up pizza slices on the way home (huge thin pepperoni pizza slices, nice and cheesy and melty) and a couple of cold root beers, go home and relax with a mindless TV show on in the background and SL just waiting for me to log in. Ah, bliss.

LOL.... ah, but does yours include two insane cats constantly pestering you to A) throw milk rings so they can fetch them, B) give them the pizza, C) let them sprawl on your shoulders so you can't type? Oh, and Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy, can't forget that.... best flavor ever!

OMG this thread made me go out and get 1/2 dozen Cinnabons for after lunch!
$10.99 for six.... the box weighs 48 ounces. That's 1/2 lb for EACH bun LOL
Each serving according to the box = 1/2 bun
Sugar: 59 GRAMS Fat: 5 grams
I couldn't bring myself to eat just 1/2 of one LOL I better do some yardwork to burn all that off!!!!

From: Yoshi Platini With sour cream icing. Could you possibly mean cream cheese icing? I've made (and eaten) a lot baked goods in my time, and I've never heard of sour cream icing. I've made cakes with sour cream in them (just subtract a bit of your other liquid like water and add sour cream for a nice moist cake, or mayonnaise instead of sour cream, believe it or not), I've made crepes that had a sweetened sour cream filling and a sour cherry topping... but I've never seen a recipe for sour cream icing.

Let me clear up the confusion. Sour cream icing : 200 grams sugar and 5 dl sourcream 36% (sorry i dont do american measurements dl is deciliters, the % is double the fat in regular sourcream, lowfat sourcream will *not* work for this) Put sourcream in a bowl, mix it vigourously (with a machine! your handwhisk is not good enough) until it is really smooth, thick and holds together. Mix in the sugar. How it can be used: 2 cake bottoms aka layered cake, canned strawberries or other fruit (i prefer strawberries) place 1 cake bottom on a plate, smear icing inside thick, add fruit, add second cake bottom. Now cover the whole cake with the icing, and decorate with fruit on top. Leave in fridge for an hour or 2 to make it really cool and nice. Or add the icing to any cake or layered cake you thought was really missing something. Yum!

As sad as this is, that's the very first time I've ever heard of someone actually using deciliters. Guess that's America for you. o.o;

Your welcome Beryl, its *very* yummy in my opinion anyways. Caleb, as far as i know Deciliters, Grams, kilos and whatnot is used in all of scandinavia, don't know how widespread it is otherwise.

::Nods.::I figured they were all used in countries that fully adopted the Metric system, I'd just never heard anyone mention deciliters in a practical setting before, heh..
