Why didn't LL censor various SLExchange threads?

A lot of 'naming names' was going on, and clearly significant reputations of two very important members were tarnished? You'd think they would have been all over those threads and would have said something like:
"If you have personal issues with these avatars, please IM in world"
Is the naming names policy a reaction to what happened with SLExchange?

It is interesting that you complain about this, yet have disparaiged Merwan on more than one occasion, Blaze. I always find these threads you start entertaining, since you often complain about your own behavior - isn't that rather self-defeating?

Because the first few threads in that whole drama were started by the people who's names were being named.

<- Cognitive Dissonance boy. Or, as the great poet said: "Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes. " I love ideas and concepts which do battle with themselves, I always feel that way lies some kind of truth.
Or perhaps it is just very Canadian ethic (I am Canadian) where some of us live in a multi-cultural society, so it's important that we have the ability to appreciate perspectives which are conflicting to our own.

Why do you keep posting about SLExchange anyway?
Are you married? Does it roll over at night and prod you in the back, asking you to post more about it, or it won't feel loved?
Really, I'd love to know why you keep running this horse through the meatgrinder, then smearing the paste all over yourself.
Isn't it enough already?

The truly amusing thing was this thread was almost off the front page until a troll bumped it.
It's funny watching trolls as they twist about chasing their own tales.
Ooh. This one sure got cut up.

Good lord, some of the posts that were taking out were not inflammatory in the slightest - the editing on these forums is getting out of control.

Notice I said some.
Yep - there are some bigot minded Canadians who think their one sided perspective is the only one that matters.

Yep - there are some bigot minded Canadians who think their one sided perspective is the only one that matters. This is true. I find there's also some who like to ramble on about everything and anything and try to make it sound important.

Obviously you have a different perspective of what's important than I .. I guess you don't really belong in the group of Canadians that appreciates different perspectives. I can appreciate that! Peace, my friend. It's all good

Or maybe he belongs to a group that can explore different perspectives without being a total tard about it? A group that dont then cry martyr when people attack them because they're 'keeping the trolls from everyone else'. A group who don't take people's obvious contempt for their behaviour and conduct as a sign they have a personal fan club? A group that don't have incredibly overinflated egos and 'holier than thou' attitudes, when in fact, as previously pointed out, and by many others as well, they simply come across as a slightly unbalanced hypocritical tard? I dunno. Just exploring different perspectives...

Kris .. If you find that someone has nothing of worthy to say, don't respond.
By responding you simply give them a bigger microphone with which to speak from.

From: blaze Spinnaker By responding you simply give them a bigger microphone with which to speak from. Or continuing the theme of looking at different perspectives... ... giving them more rope to hang themselves with. ... giving them a bigger spade to dig their own hole with. See, on the contrary, there are some people here who I positively encourage to post here, because their agendas, bigotry and hypocrisy shine through for all to see.

I turned 'shiny' off on my agenda, bigotry and hypocrisy. I did set them to 'light' though.

There are so many things wrong with such a short post, it leaves me at a loss for words. The words 'wonderful' and 'human' most certainly don't apply to me. 'Being', I guess, is accurate in the widest sense. Though I do resent the assumed implication that I am a member of the human race. Or anything other than bile spewing nastiness.
