Hi, all. I just joined up on Sunday. I thought it might be fun if I regaled you with what I have done since then: Day one: Mostly welcome area, hung around and met people. Flew around and saw the city sims. Went to Yadni's Junkyard and bought lots of stuff for very few $L. Studied lsl, wrote some silly practice scripts... studied some more. Day two: Some welcome area, was sick, home from work. So I had all day here. I flew all over the grid. I saw lots of castles, amazing houses and floating fun stuff. Went to a club and danced and laughed and talked to lots of nice people. Built a cheezy scripted rocket pack in the sand box. Physics is weird here. More LSL studies. Day three: Wrote a script and got paid for it! Learned a bit about the land market. Other than that, some welcome area and clubbing. More LSL study. Bought land in a nice foresty flat place. Actually helped someone learn how to texture properly. Was given a neat-o chair as a reward. Day four: I found the Aerodrome! Woot! Bought a real rocket pack. Flew around at high speeds! Had an unexpected romantic interlude! o.0 Visited luskwood. Many furries there. Day five: Flew around from my home land, ended up meeting a fellow new person who is also learning LSL very quickly and is also an amazing builder, which I am not. Sold my land!! Woot. More LSL study. Note to self: Practice building more. All in all it's been an awesome time. I would like to thank everyone who I've met that have been so helpful and nice to me, and who have shown me so much goodness. I would name names, but we are not supposed to. So if you are reading this, thanks! And to everyone else, hi there and I'll see you in-world!

Wow, you've been busy! When I joined SL, I kind of hovered around the edge of the pool before making my way slo-o-o-o-owly in the water. That's great that you've just thrown yourself in the middle of it Welcome!

There are too few of us. See, Cris? And you thought my nervousness was silly when you and the gang first stopped by my place! And of course, welcome to SL Agatha! We are an unwieldy bunch, but we're mostly paper tiger types.

Welcome to Second Life!
If I can be of assistance, feel free to IM me in-world with your questions or concerns and I will be happy to address them.
I also invite you to come on out to Slate (It's a SIM) and have a look at our Old West Town; Red River City.
Slate is a Group (Community) owned SIM. We own approximately 95% of the ownable land in Slate. We are currentl in process of transforming Slate into a mid-1800's area with a Native American Village (Ace and Lektor are helping with that), a mill for mining gold, a farming community (check out our TRINGO BARN).
The Slate Community is always looking for new members, although I will say we are quite picky on who we let in. The average age for the Slate Community is around 45-50. We all get along quite well, and we are supportive of one another's projects. The current project is Kenichi Chen's idea, so he's in charge of the transformation process, and was the man in charge when Red River City was being built.
If you would be interested in finding out more about the Slate Community, give me an IM, or talk to anyone in the Slate Land Holding group.
Welcome again to Second Life!
