I have no favorite, but I'll give you the "Holy Trinity" of cereals: Cap'n Crunch Froot Loops Sugar Frosted Flakes All other cereals take a backseat to these.

Mine was Rainbow Brite cereal. They don't make it anymore, but i can still remember how it tasted as a 4 year old kid. My second choice is Fruity Pebbles, then Choco Pebbles. ^^

Jeez, you must eat the stuff with pinkie extended from a silver spoon and bowl set. I barely rememeber Quisp, and his Life Partner, Quake. My 4 year old taste buds used to love both cereals.

Lucky Charms, marshmellows only.
Btw, does anyone want 9 boxes of Lucky Charms cereal only, no marshmellows?

From: someone Originally posted by Chip Midnight I forgot all about Quake! The mind is starting to go in my old age I guess. Yes, Quake died young. Apparently, Quisp sold better, and I recall at one point, Quake getting a makeover. He fell into a machine (I think it was a "Queer Eye" Transmorgrafier) which changed him from a big, rough miner to a less threatening, cowboy hat and cape wearing dude. From there, he went nowhere but downhill. This thread sent me on a little web search, and I learned that Quisp was revived in 1999, and available in selected markets and from the Quaker website.

Fruit Loops used to be the way to go for me - but now I find that it's Multigrain Cheerios. I hope this isn't a sign that I'm getting old....

What were they called, Sugar Pops? Talk about truth in packaging! Seemed like there was a bear or something on the box. I loved Cap'n Cruch too.
What about now that your an adult? I dont eat cold cereal much, but I really like Honey Bunches of Oats when I do buy some cereal.

Maybe the cereal I was thinking of was called Sugar Smacks?

there were sugar pops that had a bear mascot (yellow corn popped cereal) and sugar smacks too. I think the smacks were puffed rice and if I recall correctly the mascot was a frog.

Sugar Pops: Corn Cereal Sugar Smacks: Puffed Rice (Kellogs) Sugar Crisp (aka Super Sugar Crisp): Puffed Rice (Post) Sugar Smacks mascot: Frog Sugar Crisp mascot: Bear Got it? Edit: Has anyone noticed that all 3 were renamed, eliminating that "4 letter word" sugar?

Frosted Flakes. Lucky Charms.
And then for a good amount of time, I ate only Strawberry Squares. (pseudo-healthy content, basically a wheatie with fruit paste inside)

I like Basic 4, and honey bunches of o's (some day I will meet the person who came up with that name and smack them silly... probably the same idiot that went on to name the IHOP rooty tooty fresh and fruity breakfast!)

All time favorite: Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds mmmm Looking back, I also loved Fruity Pebbles, Smurfberry Crunch, Count Chocula, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
EDIT: LOL it wasn't Smurfberry Crunch. It was Capn Crunch with Crunch Berries. I did a little research on Smurfberry Crunch and they pulled it off the shelves quick because it turned kid's crap blue. I knew I ate some of that before but I never noticed blue logs in the toilet. Kinda reminds me of my friend who swore he sweat red after drinking too much Kool Aid. I still don't think it's possible. Anyone want to try?

I never 'got' the whole bright-colored cereal thing. My favorite cereal, then and now, is Cracklin' Oat Bran. ^_^

It seems pretty much anything grape-flavored will give your bowel movement by-products a greenish tint.
This based on my years in a fraternity house, which has thankfully stopped purchasing the grape-flavored Sysco drink mix.
