Is it just me or is it hard to find good textures for SL?
I suggest we get some kind of graphic design or texture board where we can provide links to textures and etc.
I also need a good water texture, Ive seen this really good one around that I want.

Agreed. I dont know any real cool texture sites, but I can google some at times. A texture swap group might be cool, but there are a few that sell textures that might not be too happy about that.

If you sell textures and don't like people sharing tetures then you have to deal with it by selling better textures than the ones avaliable for swap.

I found an interesting program, been messing around with it a little: http://www.texturemaker.comIf nothing else, the guy's got about 100 free for personal use textures made with the program to download.

During my quest for textures on the net, I stumbled upon this site. It has many textures that are already ingame. Enjoy! http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/texture/

I own texturemaker and its a very cool program....results look gd in sl as well. The program is very deep and learning curve a tad steep...but the more you play with it the better it gets.
