Hi Everyone!

Uh. This is really my first or second off-topic threads I've posted to these forums, so bear with me if my wittyness leaves something to desire :D

I hate zits. Doesnt everyone? ;)

Does anyone at all know of a product that will assist in the reduction of this horrible thing taking over my face?

There are so dang many on the shelf, and I really dont want to use my skin as a science lab... so, has anyone tryed something that worked?

Exfoliate.

Buy a buffpuff and use it every day (once a day).

I have done this since I was in high school, which was a long time ago. I have long received compliments on my skin and I credit that as the reason.

Age is the only cure I know of, but it works great! :p

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

I can give you a toxicologist’s perspective:

Try just plain old hand soap, warm water and a washcloth. Get your face good and lathery and gently scrub it with the washcloth wet with warm water. Try washing your face this way a couple of times a day (assuming you bathe in the morning, maybe at lunch and before you go to bed?)

Alcohol, solvents (like in some astringents), antibiotics (like in some ointments) actually kill some of your skin cells, can cause your skin to show signs of age more rapidly, can be carcinogenic (cancer causing), and if absorbed into the blood stream aren’t good for your liver, brain etc. All of these chemicals also kill the “good bacteria” that live on your skin. The good bacteria eat your dead skin, and will kill other foreign bacteria.

People in their teens tend to have more acne problems due to increase hormone production which leads to more skin oil secreted, which can clog pores, which creates a ripe breeding ground for bad bacteria. Ordinary soap removes the skin oils.

Some people have severe acne, and there are all kinds of nasty strains that can even leave scars. If the soap and water doesn’t work talk to your family doctor or go see a dermatologist (skin doctor).

If you don't have a serious skin condition: Lever 2000, anti-bacterial, ordinary bar soap, applied gently as described by Remo. Plus a whole lot of not touching (scratching, prodding, pinching) your face, because that'll just irritate the skin and incite it to seek revenge.

Plus age. Works for me!

Bullpucky! I am 48 and still get zits.

Yet another way in which I will never grow up I guess.
