Got booted from my sandbox in Windermere, and relogged to find myself in Waterhead while Windermere was offline. There's a new Linden build going up in that area. Here's a pic. The sign on the converted loft style office says VARNISH, and the land is called VARNISH PARTY. Anybody know what that is?

Lol honestly i wonder the same thing, the build is very cute, and actually it's been there for a long time (probably since the creation of the Waterhead sim), i remember stopping there when i was learning to drive in SL on the road that crosses waterhead at least 2 months ago.

It is an exact duplicate of the RL Varnish establishment where a party was held after the 2005 Game Developers Conference. I should know, I stumbled around that entire place, and I do mean stumbled... LOL

I think they were hoping to have 1.6 rolled out by the time of the party, and would have held the in-world telecast there instead of on the preview grid.

He ain't lyin! but he had some amazing tricks! I am glad everyone enjoyed the tricks! I was pretty surprised myself at the fact I was still able to pull them off after the number of drinks I downed that first hour I think I held my booze remarkably well...._____________________
