Sentencing for people found with Ecstacy in America usually equals 25 years per pill found. Now read this article and discuss. :)

I think that your going to start running into a lot of people at Raves with post traumatic stress disorders. :D

Kidding aside, I'm glad someone was open minded enough to try this. If it will genuinely help them I am all for it. But then, I think marijuana should be legalized and other drugs should be de-criminalized.

I couldn't agree more Rose. Our drug laws are so completely insane and irrational. They're nothing more than religious moralizing disguised as "looking out for public safety." Get caught with LSD or MDMA and you're likely to do hard time. Beat up your wife and you'll probably get probation. It's just sad.

That, coupled with the utter confusing and technosnob pigeonholing of 500+ substyles of electronic music, is what really downed those ravers. :p I'm not surprised they have PTSD!

Great idea, except Big Alcohol & Big Tobacco will make sure that there is no member of any government in their pockets that will ever make what would be their greatest competition legal. That, and the fact that in the U.S. there are billions now being funded to the police to fight their bad ass war on drugs....money which strangely seems to solely fund their sitting at an intersection eating Hardee's hamburgers, writing out $200.00 tickets for speeding 5.5 miles over a speed limit. But, I digress....

I have nothing to add. This is how I feel completely.

Let me just add that Marlboro has already -patented- "Marlboro Greens" in case marijuana becomes legalized in America. Oh, this country.

Wow...my mind boggles at the advertising opportunities:

Q: Would the new Marlboro man be a hippie-type, on a mountain bogarting a spliff; or a west-coast rapper in his whip, bogarting a spliff?

Ad tag-line: Marlboro Greens......smooth and....um....uh....huh huh....dude, you get my cell phone back at the club?....oh, shit! the commercial...yeah, yeah...I'm cool, it's alright...lemmie start over....*coughs*...Umm, Marlboro Greens....smooth and....uh...no, wait...I'll get it...hold on...smooth and......damnit, what was that word? Shit!...pass that thing back over here, dude....

25 years a pill?

I dread to think how long I'd have been in prison in the USA now if I lived there ...

I googled this, and found no supporting evidence of it at all. I see 5 listings where people say they 'heard' this, and 2 cases where people say "I bet RJR will make Marlboro Greens" (that would be weird, as Marlboro are a Phillip Morris product). I checked snopes and couldn't find any reference to this. Finally, unless I'm wrong, you can't patent a product, you trademark products and patent inventions?
