Well, the idea is sick, but admittedly when looking at the actual plushies, they look kinda cute. Look at schmoo  He looks like a virii himself too  I guess growing up watching the "here's life" cartoon as a kid makes me more open to scientific items like these. I dont remember the title, but I'm pretty certain its late 80's early 90's and I still remember part of the lyrics .. it goes ... Definitely cuddly pal olympia Schmoo's voice is so adorable. Makes me wanna pick him up and give him a hug There are surely other cartoon characters that look like viruses too, remember the snorks? Uderwater version of the smurfs  However, I cannot remember anymore toons at the top of my head
