The last few few days have been really laggy for me. I mean it was really bad. I was going to ask here if others were having the same problem. Then, I discovered the problem was my doing! LOL.
I was taking some pictures and set my draw distance to 512m to get good backgrounds. Great tip for your pics, by the way. Well, I forgot to reset my draw back to a level my system could handle without lagging, 216m.
So, if your lagging excessively, double check and reduce your draw distance a bit, its a easy quick fix.
LOL, Im glad I can laugh at myself.

I've done exactly the same thing...
Thinking "What's with all the lag lately" for a couple days, before it dawns on me that I had increased my draw distance to take some snapshots =D
