Howdy all! This is my very first series of 3d art pieces. I'd like some honest opinions if anyone wants to give them. If they suck great big hairy testicles, please feel free to say so!

Oasis: Rocks! Awesome! Nicely minimalist. Good effects on both sky and ground.
Longing: Very nice. Needs some tweakling with the sunset.
Ego Wins: Not so super.
Flacid Mind: Needs Viagra.

Actually, I liked "Ego Wins" the best. It bounced my eyes for a while, left right left right...

Oasis seemed too... much like something I've seen before... formulaic.

Longing... the first thing I noticed was that the lighting on the hair was wrong, or at lest suggests a powerful lightsource to the right, but off of the page. I found myself wondering what that lightsource would be. Make the lightsource more red (rather than white/yellow) and it wouldn't be so distracting. Or better yet, make it blue and drop it down in front of him at the viewer's feet... a hint of the neon "today" that makes "yesterday" worth longing.

Flacid... nice visual, I like sky... no haze and stylized clouds makes it a symbol (undecided as to what, but that's what makes looking at it interesting), but the title is wrong... flacid is the wrong adjective.

Oasis: Really good, not terribly exciting, but really good

Flacid: teh suck

Free some hard drive space...or if not, delete it for the poor sectors on your hard drive that are forced to actually save this!

Ego: Doesn't seem that bad to me but... dood is just really
butt ugly. If you're aiming for an ugly guy look then I think it's pretty good. But I'm not very artsy so others may love it.

Longing: Awesome! Definite favorite. Did I mention awesome? Anyone who says anything else is over-analyzing.

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Interesting work Darwin, have you checked out Daz3d.com or Renderosity.com? There are a few places you could display your work and also get ratings if you are interested. Also there are some really better Poser Models like the Mike3 and Victoria3 their expressions come out much better than the ones currently used by Poser. Just a suggestion and hope it helps if you didn't know.
