So I made a weird little box in game. Its a chatter box and its very simple. Chatter Box is a limited in game public discussion box. Clicking on the box will give you a note card explaining how to use it. Saying !read will cause the box to repeat the last 5 chat messages it recieved. Saying !chat followed by a message up to 80 characters in length will add your comment to the messages. For example: !chat Hello! This is a chat message!You can't add two comments in a row, if you try the second comment will replace the previous. This allows you to redo / correct a comment after you say it and prevents any one person from spamming out the chat. I put one up in my Arcade in Taber, and I set it for sale for $1 no mod no copy. New and improved! It's Chatter Box 1.1! New design (attached jpg). New interface - no more !read or !chat. Simply click READ! to see the conversations and CHAT! to add a message. New Owner/Admin Features: - Message deleting - Ban list These boxes can be gained from my Arcades in Taber or Coney and should be copyable so you can get them from other people. You now own a Chatter Box!
This is a Public Chat Booth, where anyone can leave messages that anyone can read.
Booth Info:
- Last 5 lines of conversation kept.
- Max 80 characters per line
- 10 person ban list
- Owner can delete messages
- Any person can only leave 1 message in a row, a second message will only replace the previous
General Use:
- Click READ! to see the current conversation
- Click CHAT! to add a comment to the conversation
NOTE: Only one line per person in a row, a second message will replace the previous.
- Click the yellow ! for a notecard with more information.
Admin Commands:
chat del #
Where # corresponds to the message you want to delete (starting at 0 as the most recent)
chat ban name
Where name is the name of the person you wish to add to the ban list.
chat ubn name
Where name is the name of the person you wish to remove from the ban list.
chat lbn
List all players who are banned
chat cbn
Clear the ban list
