Hi everyone...
Ok.. yes, I'm still a newbie and some of these questions may be very trivial, but most are from 1.1 and the ability to have group owned property.
1. I created a group just for the property I recently purchased to allow a few friends to edit/work on the prop. Is there any way that I can have this group not be listed in our groups under our profiles?
2. If someone leaves the group or is ejected from it, do their rights to the land also go too?
3. Regarding taxes: Is the tax the same amount as if a single person owned it, only dividing the tax liability between the group members?
4. If the group is deleted, does the property go back to the original owner? (in this case it is also the person who started the group)?
Thanks for any assistance!
JM

I would also welcome a more lengthy explanation of group ownership. Maybe we will find out more about this when the town hall transcripts are posted, since I wont be able to attend it.

I wasn't able to attend the Town Hall Meeting either, and from the transcripts, it doesn't look like any of the questions I had were addressed. Does anyone have any further info on group properties? Thanks all! JM

Jon from my understanding the taxes are the same and divided equally amongst the members of the group.
The deeded portion of the land will revert back to the last member and last owner of the group from my understanding if I am mistaken please I request a linden to set us strait.
as for taxation on any objects and items deeded to the group this tax liability will be burdened across the board except for those that a Officer of the group deem exempt from the taxation and is put on an exempt list that is part of the land ownership.
Finally if a person leaves the group then they loose all permissions set as agroup on that land unless they are granted permission rights by a Officer without being granted status as a member.
Hope that helps
