O.k. then, when will we be able to realley talk to each other kinda like counterstrike or half life. You talk into a microphone and it comes out of your avatar. The lips move and everything its so cool.

What about the voice conference option? Never tried it so I'm not sure what it does.

I am moving my lips as I type this, is that better?

Seriously though, people do use TeamSpeak and the like while in SL. I imagine someday we may have an integrated voice chat in SL. I don't know about moving lips though.

maybe i'm antisocial but i'm not really lookin forward to the day i have to hear 25 people screaming "LOL" at once. at least with chat i can look away hehe.

There has integrated voice chat (that you have to pay a one time setup fee of $25 to get) and you have the option to enable or disable it as the case may be. I got no problems turning it off if someone is acting a fool over it

I would LOVE to have it here, I hate typing.

It was suggested in the past, right when an influx of There people came into game. A lot of old players stongly objected to having it added.

There has integrated voice and it works fine.. but There is not SecondLife.

There has a different air of socialization then SecondLife in many ways. For example, in There you are limited to stictly human avatar, where in SecondLife you can go as wild as technicly possible. There puts an empasis on being social where SecondLife puts an empasis on being creative.

There has a realistic air to it where as SecondLife has a fantasy theme surrounding it all over.

Until proper voicemasking is possible, i'd rather stick to text.

It could be fun. Probably wouldn't use it much. I got some speech issues rl and enjoy being able to "talk" here without the freezing up and slurring.

No, it's not whiskey related, at least not since last weekend.

actually they'd yell "EL OH EL!!!!!! RAWFUL!!!!!" probably. ok seriously it might get really quiet cause most people i talk to admit they usually don't really laugh out loud when they "LOL" it's just easier than typing "i find that statement to be humorous".

I think voice in secondlife would be great.. it just adds to the possiblities, if you want to mask your voice.. there are plently of voice changers out there, not to hard to do.
