I am in need of CD Burning Software. Roxio seems to be the big name out there, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something better.
I have read some reviews for various software, but the user comments are a mixed bag. I would rather hear from you guys on some suggestions on what has worked for you.
I mostly want to be able to back up text and photo files. I want to be able to save .exe files (game demos) to a CD so my friends on dialup can install from CD without having to download. Straight CD copy, of course. Making music from my PC in various formats to a playable CD would be nice, but its not a priority.
Thanks for any input you might have.

Nero 6 suite $6.99 shipped www.slickdeals.net - Look down the page I would give you a direct link but I think refering a vendor is against the rules.

a lighter works if you're short on cash. but an acetylene torch would do a much better job! LOL.. sorry, couldn't help myself..

I downloaded Nero 6 and it really seems great! It does all I would need to do and more. Its really easy to use and pretty quick. Thanks for the referral on it.

My preference is for the combination of mkisofs and cdrecord. It's *nix-only, though.
