Just to clear up my own curiosity and confusion -

Do lifetime members have to pay a one time 9.95 fee to access to the 4096 square meters they get with the lifetime access?

The faq reads as follows but just refers to only land use fees and not the access itself:

---------------
Lifetime, Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly Members

Everyone benefits from the new plan! Lifetime members are allocated 1/16 of a sim (4,096m2) with no monthly land use fees in recognition of their lifetime status.

---------------

I've had people tell me that lifetime membership entitles you to a free lifetime premium access account plus the 4096 square meters of land without any additional charges ever. Is this true? I'm unable to locate anything about a free premium account in the FAQ.

Mainly I'm curious also if lifetime members get a weekly $L500 grant or receive nothing but possibly bonuses per week.

As far as I know Lifetime members are fully paid unless they go over the 4096 meter limit. They also get $L500(BASE) a week Stipend.

The official Linden comment is that Lifetimers are granted automatic "Premium Membership" at no additional cost.

No additional cost. I paid my $225 back in July to become a lifer. As long as I dont go over my 4096m, it costs me US$zero to continue playing.

Awesome, thanks for the quick responses :) I just wanted to make sure I knew what to tell people if they asked again .. Probably won't get asked anymore since most lifetimers are familar with what they are entitled to. I believe the lifetime memberships are gone anyway hehe. I am going to maintain my month to month so I wasn't familiar with it.

They said yesterday that they added 50 more lifetime memberships so there are probably still some available.
