Ow ow ow! I wear a corset for Ren Faire and SCA stuff and it's pretty comfy but that just looks painfully wrong

I remember trying to get a friend out of a corset during Pennsic a few years back...I was successful, but I've not been a big fan of them ever since.

I have few if any qualms regarding most forms of personal adornment, but... ow. Just looking at those photos make my back itch!

And yes, corsets don't have to be bad. So long as they're not sadistically tight or badly made. (I've only myself to blame for THAT experience though :P )

Well I'm probably the only one, but I think that they look rather intriguing.

The second one probably did hurt but I would imagine that after they healed they would not hurt. At least when you have had your ears or belly button pierced it doesn’t hurt after it heals.

It takes 2 people to get me in and out of my corset lol and I have had to have the laces cut to get out more than once it's not really an easy garment to get in and out of but it looks great once I have it on.

It reminds me alot of people who hang themselves to get a high, like Vincent D'Onofrio in The cell, and to a lesser degree, kurt corbain ... sure it looks intruiguing, but the ouch factor is still evident. I had my ears pierced since I was 7, but I dont usually wear my earrings anymore - i keep imagining that someone might just rip my ears off ...

I think the first pic looks sexy as hell. The second set I feel that the the rings are to closely spaced compared to their diameter and the ribbon is disproportionately thick.
