RacerX has created giant snails avies that race around a track. 3 laps. Betting optional. *grin*
Bowling and Hockey at Spittone Island. Give blood, play hockey!Baron Grayson's newly built pub for a bit of Irish flair and excellent music. It's a great place to hang with your crew and knock back a pint or two. That's all I could think of in 60 seconds Anyone else? |

See the Backstage Sim for something REALLY different. Half of the fun is the surprise, so I won't tell what it's about. There are many hidden places though. Do look under the furniture

Do look under the furniture .Oh, wow, no kidding. One of the most uniquely enjoyable experiences on the grid. Another fun place: I've always liked Abbotts Aerodrome because Cubey has those fun airplane and airship tours, in addition to all the demos of his vehicles. Great place to go and play with flying machines. |

I like going under furni!
![]() Abbotts is definitely a mainstay of SL -- one of the first places I ever visited when I started my Second Life. I like a lot of these locations: in fact, I just tried snowboarding for the first time the other day. Sometimes, you'll just be walking or flying somewhere, and a build out of nowhere will catch your fancy. Or you'll have whole communities like Mocha or Uli that just have a very nice charm to them. L'Utopie sim is wonderfully beautiful: Sky Designs stuff too, w00t! Can't go wrong with Toonville in Olive -- can't miss it either! Tigerlady, I dunno if you've seen it, but I highlight a lot of my fave places on my blog, the URL is in my signature. ![]() Have fun exploring! _____________________

Mazes!
02-25-2005 19:00
If you like running around in mazes, we have a bunch in Zoe right now. We have a maze building contest underway, but I think 7 of the mazes are done already and there will be a bunch more done by Sunday (18 contestants total). Voting is Sunday-Monday, awards are Monday night, and we'll leave the mazes on display all next week so you can play in them.

And here's a new one that I recently discovered - Brand-dandy new, in fact.
I'm not even sure what Sim it's in! <laughs> Perhaps one of its sponsers will chip in. Check out the Inari Museum, recently opened. I had the happy joy of attending its grand opening recently, and I seriously think most people in search of fun and different places and events will love it as much as I did. The building design is superb, the exhibits are well-placed, colorful, and thought-provoking. A love of art and/or just a normal curiousity for new things may be required, but I had an awesome time there, and I think it should be near the top of the list for anyone tired of the clubs and seeking out new experiences in Second Life. Madison, Liz, Windsong and the rest of you: Kudos.. Serious Kudos for this one. Thank you for allowing some of us to share in this fine place. |
