Perfect job, excellect courses, beautiful scenery. The six new sims are a great addition to SL, and can help to keep the noisy stuff out off the quiet residential neighborhoods. After fooling around with a hovercraft, I took the liberty of drawing a map with suggested courses. Suggestions, nothing more, and quite a variety: - flat/open land course - open water course - canyon/water course - road course with several configuration options Not to forget areas suitable for many other ways to abuse a vehicle. For those interested in seeing a map with some course layouts, click the url below. A less blurry bmp can be uploaded in world on request. http://www.simlane.net/secondlife/img/FortunaTracks.jpg

This map is great! You almost got all the courses Looks like you missed the circular land course around the lake and the half pipes. Please keep your eye on these regions as course flags, start and finish lines, and racing games are coming in the weeks ahead. -RL

*BUMP*
This area been around two days, I just found out about it tonight. Its a blast! The six new sims are found just south of Oak Grove. It needs a TH, in the mean time, teleport to Oak Grove, that will put you at the Ahern TH. Dont teleport directly to them, you might wind up in Da Boom with no way to get there.

heh spending too many hours in these new sims. I put up my trials game again (in Fortuna) if anyone's bored give it a shot!
Bumped into Harald and Joan out for a drive and talked about racing a little. That map looks interesting :).

Didn't get to spend half as much time as I wanted to, but managed to get out there last night anyway. Seems like I need a totally different design for your time trial, Boso, as the SimRover was made for more flat terrain and low hover heights. You're right, Ryan, missed that one! Seems like the 'road' course comes in even more varieties. The land speeds that can be achieved here are incredible! Crossing a sim border adds an extra challenge, but that's all part of racing
