I was on for about 20 - 30 mins till I went on a parcel running a movie stream and SL crashed. The real trick to logging in easily is twiddling your thumbs and preying nukes hit us all while sipping on some Fresca and listening to the sirens. ALL HAIL LINDEN LABS! ALL HAIL SECOND LIFE! ALL HAIL THE KING OF NOTHING! ALL... nevermind... going to try it your way now ;P

Hey I've been able to log in twice! I also got kicked out twice! My secret to getting in is to jump on one leg, put your hand over your face, shout "There Is No Delay From The Recompilation Of The Inventory And The Thousands Of People Doing This At Once" to the tune of the Star Trek theme. The secret to getting kicked off is if you stop doing this, you'll lose your connection!

I just kept trying, took about 15 minutes. Not quitting the client after it says 'nonresponsive' helped too, it seemed.
Anyway, we go through this every grid down/up event for upgrades anyway. |
