I wonder if anyone else knew about Tab?

I found this out by accident, and when I mentioned it to my friends they didn't know about it either.

Does anyone know that when you press tab, you look at the person who spoke last, excluding yourself?

I'm kinda courious who already knew this.
*holds up his "I'm less than a month old" sign and grins lightly*

It is an old, but little known feature. Been around since beta. I'm sure we all hit tab from time to time and never notice it.

Never knew it.

I've been here for almost an entire year and I never knew that. I wonder what other unknown shortcuts lurk at my fingertips?

I loved Tab as a girl.... can't find it around here anymore.

The only reason I knew about it was due to a start-up message on the SL splash page, one day. It's kinda cool, but when the person starts flying around, your camera follows...kinda irritating.

I tabulate a fair amount, but it's more for fun and camera angle picturetaking than anything else.

You know, I was thinking along the lines of soft drinks too. I have a Tab necklace, actually. It's very cute.

Its handy in a crowd when your not sure where the person speaking is standing.

One shortcut that took me over a year to learn was clicking on the mini map opens the big map.

I wonder if someone should start a list of little known commands and shortcuts that are worth knowing?

that's something i read a long time ago and, oddly enough, always remembered. but i never use the feature.

I used to use it a lot, but it stopped working while sitting, so I stopped using it... oh well...

So does backspace make you look away? hehe

While we are on the subject.. did you know the land information at the top of your screen to the right of the debug tab will open the "About Land" window by clicking on it?


If you move something by accident that CTRL Z will return it to its previous location?


Still on my first cup of coffee so all I can think of atm that might be of use.

... but only if the chat bar is closed.

And that sometimes you have to de-select the moved object, then re-select it, for CTRL + Z to work.

Of course I know about delicious, low-calorie Tab. How can one calorie taste so good? We may never know.
